Chapter 4: Gabriela

I trawled the database a bit more the next morning after Jennie and Ed had left. I didn't pry but I guessed they were going to go to one of their homes to fuck before they went to work. And probably the other one of their homes after that, maybe for another fuck. So they could both get clean clothes. And fuck twice.

I noticed that all the mysterious orders were placed by different people, but always the junior people in purchasing. So I figured somebody was trying to cover their tracks, somebody who had enough power to change the purchaser on an order. Like the head of purchasing. It wasn't that big an organization so there was one manager for it. I started to suspect he was our man.

I emailed Jennie to see if she could trace whether the purchaser names had been changed and what the original name was. That would pretty much prove my suspicions if the head of purchasing created the orders and then re-assigned them to his junior staff.

But if lots of stuff was shipped to inventory in purchasing they would have to keep the boxes around, even if they were empty, in case of an audit. So somewhere in purchasing there had to be a hidden cache of boxes.
