"Owe!" I exclaimed, as I, having stepped out of the bath shower, went to get the nearby towel to dry myself.

Looking down out my pained foot, I noticed a dark splinter from a floor tile that was caught between two of my toes and so I sat back on the side of the bath and removed the object. As I did, I suddenly noticed a few more splinters here and there.
