Paying it Forward With Benefits

The other day I was going through the Drive Thru of a local Coffee Shop. I placed my order, medium coffee, black and an Apple Fritter. When I pulled up to the window to pay for the order the clerk informed me that the car in front of me had paid my bill. I looked up but the car was already pulling out into traffic and was heading down street. I mentally thanked the driver and thught that I must do this to someone else.

A few days later I was going though the same drive thru and I decided that I needed to pay for the person behind me. Hoping that they were not ordering for the entire office. I told the clerk that I was paying for my order and the person behind me. He told me what I owed and I had him put it on my card. As I started to pull away I looked in my rearview mirrorer and thought, "Hmm, not bad."

As I drove down the road thinking about my plans for the afternoon and evening, which consisted of dinner, alone and an evening in. I noticed headlights flashing at me and light tapping on the horn from the car behind me. I realized it was the car that was beind me at the drive thru. She pointed to a strip plaza that was on the right and we pulled into the parking lot.
