So I arrive back at NY thru London. A LONG plane ride. I catch a connecting flight to Chicago, where my parents picked me up.

It was on the flight to Chicago that I sat next to this "HUNK". Sitting in his white dress shirt and tie, and black pants, I didn't realize he was one of the "crew" members. Not a senior officer, but a co-pilot heading home. In that two hour flight we chatted and chatted, and brought each other up on our lives.

I found out he was single. We exchanged numbers and departed at Chicago, with hugs. "HHHuuummmmm" that felt good, I said to myself.

Back home with the parents was good for awhile. I relaxed and in that time, sent Resume's all over the place. Went for job interviews, mostly towards Chicago, as this town was so little....there wasn't really a career to pursue here.

About four months later, I get a call. It was the Pilot, Charles. We chatted a lot, and he asked me about what's up, etc. "Nothing Charlie, this town is dead, what about you?" I asked. The conversation continued where as at the end he asked me to come to Chicago, as he was on a "lay-over" for a week. I told mom & dad I'd be back in a week, I was going to see a classmate in Chicago, packed and was gone. Mom was good enough to loan me her car.
