This will be my first original story in a while and it may contain ideas or themes from previous stories, but unlike many of my works i plan for this to be more detailed and descriptive. I hope you enjoy

It was supposed to be a simple checkup and maybe that's what frustrated me, what with sitting in the lobby for over an hour until finally getting called back. The nurse was cold and indifferent and after making a few notes in my file she asked me to undress and wait for the nurse. What? A different nurse? More waiting? I sighed as i stepped out of my shoes and began unbuttoning my shirt. At 40 i was in great shape and still went to the gym, worked out, ran in the occasional 10k and had a healthy sex life with my girlfriend Kelly who I've been with for 5 years now. Sure my short black hair shows a little grey and unless i stand up straight i might not seem 5', 11" but i think i'm in good shape for having turned 40. I manage a convenience store that my parents own, which is funny because Kelly manages one of their store as well, and most days it's not as stressful as it seems. So as i lay my shirt on the back of the chair i sighed and took off my pants, then my t-shirt until i was standing there in my briefs and socks looking for a robe.
