I was having lunch with a few of my coworkers and they were discussing an upcoming music fest that they were going to be attending. Every year, they would group up, put their money together and attend the fest. It was a four-day music festival that had many different bands playing throughout the time. I had never been to one, but was intrigued by the idea, especially since I knew some of my favorite bands would be playing at the show. As they discussed it with each other, Gary, one of my male coworkers, turned to me and asked if I would be interested in attending. I was caught off guard but at the same time a bit excited because of the bands that would be playing. I told him and the rest of the group that it was definitely something I was interested in, but needed to make sure that I could get a few things in order before I said yes. They completely understood and told me to let them know as soon as I could.

Later that day, as I had dinner with my husband, I told him about the offer that had been made to me. Like I had figured, he wasn't completely excited about the idea of me going away for four days with a bunch of coworkers, especially since we would be shacking up in hotel rooms together. I told him that I completely understood where he was coming from, but at the same time this was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to be able to see my favorite bands all at the same place. We discussed it for a bit and after some persuasion, I eventually convinced him and he gave in. He told me to go and enjoy myself and said that he would attend to our son and that I shouldn't ...
