When Shelby got home, she unpacked and started dinner. But, her mind was not on her work. Her thoughts were filled with possible scenarios about how Kevin was going to act when he got home. At six o'clock, he walked through the door and her apprehensive questions were answered.

Kevin acted as if she had never gone off for a night of sexual fun with other men. He walked in the door, kissed her and told her how beautiful she was. Shelby was confused. This was the last thing she would have expected. Their dinner was relaxed and pleasant with her asking about his day at the office and him complimenting her cooking. When they finished eating, everything went as usual. Kevin walked into the living room and turned on the TV while Shelby cleared the table and loaded the dishwasher. Shelby joined him and they watched a couple of sitcoms together. Then, they went to bed and made love.

As usual, Kevin came within a couple of minutes of entering her. As he lay on the bed in contented bliss, he watched Shelby as she went into the other room and closed the door.
