A couple of months had passed since my wife Steph and I had had an incredible encounter on our short break to the lakes. In the intervening period our sex life had improved, although neither of us referred to our erotic afternoon with Sarah and Amit, the young couple who we had swapped partners with.

I was unsure whether Steph ever thought back on the day, but the occasion had played on my mind a couple of times. We had said that we would stay in touch with the other pair, however as I was unsure what Steph's reaction would be if I made the first contact, I hadn't done anything. As we hadn't heard anything from them either, I assume that we had just been chalked up as another passing encounter in their swinging lifestyles.

All of that might make what happened when we took a trip into town for lunch seem a huge coincidence, but I swear nothing was planned.

Since our trip to the lakes, Steph and I had decided that at least once a month we would have a day just to ourselves. We would go to the cinema, theatre or a museum and follow it up with a nice late lunch/ early dinner together before going home. Spending time together in this relaxed way made us both appreciate our relationship more and, to be fair, usually ended in quite a steamy night at home!
