A Conference Happening - Part 2

Mike awoke, not sure where he was at first, looked around and remembered. He was in a motel room. He'd come to a conference with Susan and... The memory of what they'd done the night before flooded him with guilt. He'd slept with Susan! What would happen to his marriage? Ilene said she'd leave him if he cheated on her! On the other hand, she didn't have to know, did she? Question was, where was Susan? He heard the shower and knew.

Memories of the delights they'd shared the previous evening incited hunger for Susan all over again. He slid out of bed and headed for the bathroom. One of the things he liked about motels was that all of them -- especially the big chains -- had big showers and playing in the shower was one of his favorite things. He hoped Susan would agree.

As Mike walked toward the bathroom, he wondered if Susan might have had a change of heart about what happened, but he pushed the thought out of his mind as he crossed the room. The worst that could happen would be she'd tell him to get out of the room and they'd have a strained relationship at work.
