It was proving to be an interesting job. My company had contracted to do the decorating and music for a surprise 40th birthday party. It was going to be a small party of around 50 people at a private residence and they paid extra to have me personally do the job. It was early in the season so we were not booked up yet and the extra money was a welcome perk. It turned out to be a rare nice day for April with bright sun and the thermometer was hovering in the mid 60's.
