The PI and her Client Chapter Two

The sun was just setting when Rachel parked the van, this would give them just enough time to get set up before darkness fell. She turned on the equipment in the van with Lilly following her every move. She packed up her bag and they set off into the woods. She saw that Lilly was following close behind looking at every bush and tree for any critters that might be lurking. But the only animals that they saw were the birds in the trees calling out to each other as they passed. When they got close, Rachel motioned for Lilly to be quiet, not that she had said anything since they began their trek into the woods.

Just before they got to where Rachel had left her tripods, Rachel heard voices coming from the back of the house. Again, Rachel motioned for Lilly to be quiet and pointed toward the house and Lilly nodded her head indicating that she too had heard the voices. Once they were at the tripods, Rachel saw that Lilly was disappointed that she couldn't see anything. She hoped that Lilly wouldn't try to get a better view and she didn't though Rachel could see that Lilly so wanted to see what was going on. ...
