TIME MAN – Chapter One

He woke up in an alley, lying in a puddle of water. He shook his head, stood up and stretched his muscular body. He ran his hands over his naked body and found that no physical damage had occurred during the transport. He looked around himself and moved over to a trash Dumpster sitting twenty feet away. He put his hands on the side of it and pushed. The Dumpster moved about ten feet. ‘Good. Still have my strength’ he thought with satisfaction.

He moved to one of the doors lining the alley and twisted the lock and it came off in his hand. He pushed the door open and stepped inside. He stood there for a minute letting his eyes adjust. He found himself in a storage room, but it was a restaurant storeroom. He went back outside and moved to another door. He twisted the lock off and stepped inside. It was a toyshop. In the fifth place he broke into, he found what he was looking for. It was a clothing store. He moved through another door, into the main store and found a shirt, pants, socks and shoes. Suddenly he heard sounds outside and looked out the big front windows. There were two police cars out front.

He ran to the back and as he put his hand on the door, he could hear voices outside. He moved over behind some boxes and waited. The door ...
