Jim checked the address on Lizzy's driving licence and looked at the house in front of him. He'd run out after her the night before when he realised she'd left her purse behind, but all he'd seen was the lights of a taxi driving off.

So now here he was on Saturday morning stood outside Lizzy's house. Despite the events of the previous night he was rather apprehensive about seeing her again. What if her husband was back already? How would he be able to explain turning up with Lizzy's purse to the man she was married to? Wouldn't it be better to just wait until Monday in the office?

Except, supposing people saw... that would lead to all sorts of gossip. Ok, so it would be true, although he doubted anyone would imagine anything near the truth. Plus, the purse had her keys, phone, card, cash... Jim wondered briefly how she'd paid for the taxi... Lizzy would no doubt need all of that over the weekend.

"That's it," he thought, "decision made. I'm giving everything back. If her husband's around, she'll have to come up with the explanation."

He walked up to the front door and rang the bell. He heard someone moving inside house and after a couple of moments the door opened. Except it wasn't Lizzy opening it, it was a cute redhead with stunning green eyes. Jim guessed she was maybe a year or two younger than him. ...
