Another travelling tournament for the kid's basketball team. It was the middle of February, and off we went about two hours from home across the state. This was a big tournament, about 50 teams from across the state for a long weekend tournament. After a long drive on a Friday morning, we met his team for lunch at a restaurant not far from the host gym. It was the typical chaos in the party room of the restaurant with twelve 9yr olds making way too much noise and way too much mess. I chatted at the adult table making small chat with the group and seeing who was joining the group.
