It never happens to me!

I was working away on business recently and checked in to a largish hotel just outside the city center.

I had been traveling most of the day so had decided to eat around 8pm. I then settled into a quiet corner of the bar, browsing my phone and sipping a cold beer. The bar was quiet and by 10pm I realized I was the only person left.

I was contemplating heading to my room when an attractive brunette walked in and perched herself on a stool at the end of the bar. She had on a floral patterned summer dress that looked either satin or silk, as she sat down I noticed the skirt was slit high and I could see her shapely legs and a fair but of thigh. So I decided to stick around and enjoy the view.

Shortly afterward another guy entered the bar, he glanced around and took a seat near me. He seemed to keep staring at the woman at the bar. She looked back at him a couple of times but neither acknowledged the other. The guy then looked over at me. I caught his eye and acknowledged him with a raise of my eyebrows. He seemed shocked that I was sitting there. Perhaps he hadn't noticed me? Besides I thought, I was here first.
