Crap. Despite my best intentions to stay unnoticed, the scenario I had feared most was starting to unfold. Someone was taking interest in me and my shopping. Despite myself, I could feel my skin flush, probably notifying whoever had snuck up behind me that whatever I said next would be a lie (and it certainly was going to be). My ears felt so hot, steam must be rising from them.

"Oh haha it's just for a gåg" I replied, my voice shaking in obvious nervousness.
