It's Friday night and I was heading out with my friends to party. Steff, my buddy Chris' girlfriend, was turning 20. So we gathered up some of her and Chris' friends and piled into my car to hit the clubs to celebrate. This was one of the big downsides to having a 4 door car. I could squeeze seven people in it, so I ended up driving a lot. We would spread the designated driver duties around, but tonight was my night. Tonight it was Chris, Steff, Emma, Chloe, Steve, Jill, and myself. Fortunately those under 21 had fake IDs.

After a fun night of dancing, drinking (except me), and partying, we all piled back into my car and headed back to the dorms. I lived in a loft right next to the campus. When we got back it was around 1am. Everyone was able to stagger back to their rooms except Emma. She was just about falling down drunk. Everyone except for Chloe and I had already jetted off to their rooms. Chloe and Emma were good friends so Chloe tried to help her, but just wasn't strong enough. So I pitched in and helped Chloe get Emma to her room and into bed.

The college we went to was in the middle of a major city. The campus was fairly safe, but crime off campus was significant. This was an issue because Chloe also lived off campus. She only lived a few blocks from the campus. I would have driven her, but parking is a big problem. I got a good spot that night, and kind of wanted to keep it. Plus Chloe was cute so I offered to walk her home.
