Shortly after Jim left, Kara came back to my apartment. There were stars in her eyes. I don't know exactly what Marcus had done to her, but if it was anything like he'd done to me, of course she did.

Two days later, our flight from Charles deGaulle to JFK was uneventful. Of course, we flew first class, and as soon as we reached altitude, Kara requested that the flight attendant adjust her seat into a bed, "Dora, I am so sore, I can't sit," she whispered.

I just smiled. Now, I knew exactly what Marcus had done to her. That freight train was still rolling.

Kara's apartment was across the Park from mine. We both needed a day to recover from jet lag, but the following day we had an appoint for an all day spa treatment, and I can't speak for Kara but it was time for a wax, too.

We had dinner together, and Kara started, "well, we didn't do much on our quest for the perfect guy, but I don't know about you, but sex with Giorgio, Matteo, Marcus and Jim was incredible."
