Laura and I started talking about getting married, and children. "Matty, even before our kids learn to walk, I'm going to have them on skis. You need to learn how."

The door was unlocked, and people were coming in and out: new employees, delivery people, etc. MaryAnn was out running errands. I was on the floor behind the bar fixing something when I heard a familiar voice.
