I was accepted at a medical school in Chicago, and although we liked Dartmouth, we were excited to be moving back home.

Marla had rented out our home, and with the lease expiring, not only were we moving back to Chicago, we were moving back to our old five bedroom home; just a few miles from the medical college.

The first thing Miss Marla did was buy some new bedroom furniture for both of us, and for the two guestrooms. One bedroom became a place where I could study with no distractions. Marla's bedroom was on the first floor, and the other four, along with two baths were upstairs.
