Tricia stared at her bag and cursed her husband's name.

"God dammit, Dave," she muttered, her voice echoing in the hotel bathroom. This was supposed to be a romantic night out, a chance to reconnect. Instead, Dave spent the night reconnecting with a childhood friend, Karl.

"Babe," Tricia called out, cracking open the bathroom door. "Can you come here?"

"Yeah babe," Dave replied, the laughter of two old friends filling the room.

A moment later, Dave's face was poking through the door. "What's up?"

Tricia tried to hide her serious frustration. "Sweetie, this isn't what I planned."
