I was up early the next day. Since I had plenty of time to kill before I met Amy, I decided to straighten the house up and do some things my wife had asked me to get done while she was gone. I figured she wouldn't wonder what I was doing if the chores she wanted finished were done when she got home.

When I was finished working, I still had over an hour until my "date" with Amy. Considering the fact that I'd made love with her more times than I could count, and had spent one whole night with her, I found myself feeling restless, like I used to when I was a teenager and was getting ready to go out on a big date. I didn't understand why that was, but I didn't fret about it, either.

Even though I was an hour early, I got dressed and left for Riverdale. I figured getting there early wasn't any worse than pacing around restlessly at home. When I arrived at the restaurant where I was to meet Amy I parked in the parking and went inside.
