My boyfriend Marc called at about 7:00 on a Tuesday evening. The power in his apartment was out and would not be back on for at least three hours. He had his poker group coming over in an hour and with no power that just wasn’t going to work. He asked me to let him have the game over at my apartment. He offered to send my friend Denise and I out to a movie while they played. Being a good sport and realizing that it was just a one-time thing, I agreed, but I really didn’t want my apartment messed up by a bunch of rowdy guys.
