Dave's eyes drifted open, the cheap semi-industrial fabric of the couch making his back itch. Wearing only his boxers, at some point he'd kicked off his blanket. He wondered what time it was, as he looked over at the TV, glowing a harsh blue-white, his eyes straining to adjust.

Quietly, he sat up, his feet hitting the soft carpet silently. Rising to his feet, he moved across the hotel suite bedroom, past the bed, and into the bathroom. The cold marble was a rude awakening. The clock on the bedside stand read 3:30.

Turning on the light and sliding closed he door, he started at himself in the mirror. He thought he looked like shit. Last night had gotten so...weird.

What were they thinking?
