This begins chapter 2 of BLONDE NEXT DOOR.

If you had been reading regularly, weekly when I posted the first 11 parts, what was essentially Season 1 or Chapter 1, you know what's going on. This story has been plotted and planned, was never written on the fly, there were no random or sudden, shoehorned in characters, each one exists for a reason. This part is longer and heavy with story that is necessary to get chapter 2 going.

Call it Season 2 if you like.

If it feels like something has shifted or changed, it's because the flood of feedback has been divided. Half want me to get on with the relationship, engagement and marriage to Chelsea. Half want me to lean in on the free running sex with some wanting more guest stars and one offs to keep things interesting. The third half, yes that's humor, they want a mix of realism and fantasy with everyone asking over and over again... what about Julie? Wasn't the story about her?

You'll have your answer once and for all by the end of part 13.

I've said it several times at the beginning of multiple parts, and I mean it when I say this is not going to go like anyone thinks, even my editors have no clue how or when this eventually ends. Julie has not been sidelined or written off, so please go easy on the harsh feedback. Be patient and everything will make sense soon enough. Grace and Emily have not been forgotten, hang in there as their moments will come... and be worth it. No long intro, hopefully you've read previous parts. Recap will occur in conversations and as much as I hate spoilers, Chelsea is here to stay no matter what else happens. And another spoiler alert, Chloe, the character introduced in this part was suggested by a loyal reader and is intended to change things up, introduce chaos, and it has taken considerable thought, plotting and editing to get her right.
