A Love Story Gone Wrong

This happened a long time ago, but I still shiver when thinking about everything that went on and how shaken and terrified, I was at the time. It's difficult to even reminisce about some of the events that developed over a very short period of time.

I was married, working in a small company, and going to college after work. My kids were young - it was exhausting and, sometimes, overwhelming to deal with everything - work, school, kids, chores... My wife and I were in a very bad relationship - constantly arguing, yelling at each other - I remember going home and not wanting to be there, or better say, see my wife. It's easy for two people to reach a level of intolerance toward each other after years of emotional neglect and later, focusing on the children, not paying attention to their relationship and each other's needs, drifting away further and further... It takes effort to make things work. You have to empathize with your partner, try to put yourself in their shoes, bring all arguments to a middle ground and be gentle to one another, care and invest in the relationship if you want to make things work... We both were very hot-headed and instead of trying to work on improving our relationship, we basically shifted apart day by day, letting frustration take over - things were tense and unpleasant. I can't remember how long we used to go without being intimate at the time. It made me feel even worse and more frustrated - I was all over the place, talking to women online occasionally, trying to find some solace, understanding and distraction.

It was around that time, when a new woman started working at the company I was employed with. Monica was originally from Poland, 35-year-old, with a strong accent, not very beautiful but charming and men liked talking to her. She was medium height, thick but not fat, with a wavy, brown hair down to her shoulders. She had thick thighs and big boobs, and I could see men staring at her when she wore tight clothes. She liked the attention and was chatty and flirty, but never crossed the line of decency and professionalism. She was married and had one daughter. Initially, I wasn't sure if she liked me, or she just liked talking to me because we were both from Europe, but we did connect and, I remember, I was looking forward to working with her, whenever our schedules on the floor aligned. A few months after she started, we were having lunch together and she told me she was getting a smart phone for the first time and will be able to send me pictures. I knew she was joking but I had started to like her and the way she talked and flirted with me, and it gave me something to think about. I remember I was fantasizing about swapping pictures with her, and it was all new and exciting to me. We continued being work friends, chatting a lot and flirting here and there but she never sent me any pictures and I started realizing that she talked a lot, but wouldn't act on any of the things she said. I had recently bought my first smart phone too and one day I told her: "Today after work, I'll send you a very bad picture!" She laughed and said, "OK, I'll be waiting!". She probably thought I was joking but this time, I wasn't. When I got home, I had some time alone and used it to take a picture of my aroused penis and with a shaky hand and heart racing fast, I sent it to her. I was so anxious, waiting all evening for her response, but she didn't text me back. I was confused and nervous, I was hoping I didn't offend her or scare her away. I didn't get a chance to see her at work the next day and was starting to think I did a mistake. The following day, however, she was walking past me, and we had a brief conversation about the usual, work related, stuff. Before we parted ways, however, she added: "By the way, I am impressed!", and winked at me. My heart started racing as she walked away, I was speechless. Her compliment felt really good and the next few days, I began thinking about her even more. I never thought anything could actually happen between us, but it was thrilling and exciting to have this attention and connection, to feel someone likes you. It also turned me on having a dirty little secret with someone married, also a colleague at work, the forbidden fruit had always excited me more than it should...

One day, we got scheduled to work together. Since we usually worked in different departments, this was surprising, and we were both happy we had the opportunity to spend the next 8 hours together. We were talking about all kinds of random things - our past, families, kids, work... At
