In light of the previous night's events, the morning was surprisingly normal.

Tammy gave no noticeable reaction to the three of us being naked in bed together when she woke up, and made no mention of the activities that had occurred. Which made me curious if she had been completely oblivious to what had happened, or was aware and simply chose not to say anything.

Angela, of course, knew exactly what had occurred, but aside from being somewhat more affectionate with her looks and touches, everything felt as it always had. Fair enough. Last night had happened, we both enjoyed it, and we were getting on with our day. Still, a future conversation on the subject seemed likely.

The late night arrival (and later-night antics) had resulted in a bleary-eyed scramble to meet our check-out time, so we followed up with a leisurely breakfast at a local diner before hitting the road. However, the relaxed interlude set the pace for the day, and after additional stops for travel snacks, etc., it was clear that we were running well behind schedule. In order to avoid another hotel-room debacle like the night before, we collectively agreed that it would be a good idea to cancel our existing reservation, recalculate our travel range for the day, and book a new room in a closer town.
