By the next morning that itch was back. There was nothing I could do about it. I was off to college; there would be no Mr. Marin. There would be no Mr. Marin's cock.

The state university was almost two hundred miles away from Watertown in University Heights. My parents drove me with all my stuff.

They didn't stay long; just long enough to help me unpack. As they were leaving my mom reached into her bag and handed me a gift-wrapped package. "Honey, don't open it until we're down the road. I'd be so embarrassed. I love you, sweetie."

Hannah said with all the boys around here. The state university had over 20,000 students which meant there were around 10,000 boys. And that was the problem: they were boys, not men like Mr. Marin who was forty-five.

Hannah proved to be like some of the girls back in Watertown. By the end of our first week, I knew everything about her. We could have boys in our room but we should be respectful of our roommates. Before she left she handed me a slip of paper. "It's a note for you to go to 216 Jefferson Avenue, tomorrow at 4 PM."
