Chapter 21 – Making Out
Matthew regretted how things had ended with Jose. He reflected on whether he was partially responsible, whether he may have unintentionally misled Jose when he was drunk. Jose was like a big brother to him, someone he looked up to, someone he didn’t want to lose, yet he somehow fucked it up.
The kid needed time to process what had gone wrong. Matthew couldn't face Jose. Not so much because he felt violated, but because he felt responsible. Also, how was he able to cum without touching himself?
When he showed up at Alex's front, his eyes were red.
"Matt, are you alright?"
"Bro, can I stay with you for a few days?"
"Of course. Is everything okay?"
"I just need some time away from home. Will your mom be okay with this?”
“Yes, she adores you.”

Matthew was having a rough day. He kept quiet about what had happened between him and Jose. Alex didn't press for details. Instead, the two just spent quality time with each other.
When night fell, they shared a meal with Alex's family. At the dinner table, Matthew and Sara avoided looking at each other.
After showering, the two friends retreat to Alex’s room to play computer games before bedtime.
"Alex ….”
“Yeah?”
“About what happened at my house … I think we should stay friends."
Matthew was referring to the time they had made out.
Alex nodded. Although he was relieved that Matthew had brought it up, he was also disappointed in the finality of it.
"Then we're cool?"
Alex nodded again.
"Good. You're my best bud and I don't wanna lose that."
Although Alex was generally able to hold back his feelings, Matthew could tell that his best friend was disappointed. After initially hesitating, Matthew reached over to playfully suckerpunch Alex’s arm, which led to a series of playful strikes and yelps.

TEN minutes later ….
“Matt ….”
“Yeah?”
“Would you date me if I was a girl?”
“Dude, if you were a girl … I would not be able to keep my hands off of you. But if you were a girl, I don’t think we could be best friends.”
“I wish I was a girl.”
