We were both drunk. Not fall down stupid drunk like men get. Rather, soft... sexy drunk. When you have had just enough alcohol to feel kind of warm and fuzzy and very uninhibited.

We both looked pretty in our party dresses. Helen’s was black and short with a little satin ribbon tied just beneath her gently rounded breast.
