Going to a prestigious New England college had been Dana’s dream. Her parents were nowhere near being wealthy enough to send her to college but Dana was an excellent student. Her grades and test scores were enough to get her a scholarship but it didn’t pay for everything. She had a job on campus but it paid minimum wage and barely covered the price of books.
