The plan had been to finish Educating Alex at the end of Chapter 6, but it didn't go quite as I intended it, so there is a very real need for Chapters 7 and 8 now, if only to see what Alex had planned for Ryan's birthday. After that I'll eventually write a Chapter 9 dealing with the whole Thanksgiving / Christmas thing and the introduction to Alex's family and then well, we'll see. I have it in mind to maybe send Ryan to study in Europe for a year, once in a lifetime opportunity sort of thing, and see how Alex copes. But that's in the future, I'm not going past Chapter 8 for now as I really, really, really want to write some more of Crux and I'm just not finding time for it.
