Chapter 3

The rest of Scott's shift went by rather quick, and, surprisingly, not one of his sales associates commented on his public display of affection with Chris at the door. They all went about their business, and at the end of the night, all of them got the store in shape for Donna the next day. Scott sighed; he had the next few days off, since he had worked a couple of holidays without getting paid, so he was on a mini 4-day vacation from the store. He could not help but smile as he locked the door and walked to his car.

His smile began to fade as he approached his car however. There was a note under the windshield, with his name written on it. He recognized the hand writing, right away, as Brett's: Scott,

Hey, it was good to see you again today. We need to talk. I am gonna come by your place when I get out of work. I should be there about 30 minutes after you get home, if you still drive the way I remember.
