Daena tried to concentrate on typing her report about John Milton, but she just couldn't gather enough interest to think of anything else to write about him. Beyond saying that he was the most famous English writer of the 17th century, and that he had written "Paradise Lost", she was at a complete blank. The report was worth over fifty percent of her entire grade, and the paper was due tomorrow! If she didn't pass her English class this semester, she'd have to take it again during the summer, and that meant no beach, no hanging out, no ANYTHING! It meant hours and hours of dreary studying about subjects which didn't interest her. She had gone home this weekend specifically to pore through her fathers' collection of English texts that he kept in his study, desperate to find something worth plagiarizing, er, utilizing as a reference... Daena nearly slapped herself when, in desperation, she actually considered for a moment stealing an English report that her father had written twenty years ago when he was in her same position, having to produce a report on a Renaissance English writer. Daena knew she would either pass this class on her own merit or bore herself to death trying. She reminded herself that she was 22 years old and should be responsible enough to pass one little English class on her own. She would get her degree in communications sure enough, and with that degree she would find a career in... in... Daena pushed the worrying ...
