Introduction

I had no intentions of ruining my best friend’s life. I never meant to destroy a family. And seeing my neighborhood end up in an ugly war was the last thing I had ever wanted.

But all of that happened because of one innocent moment. One spur of the moment decision I made and the surprising turn of events that followed. I swear that if I had to relive it over again, I would have never gone “exploring” through my friends house that summer afternoon. And none of this would have ever happened. But it did.
