These were the last moments of part Two...

"No," Corey said softly. "I promised him a drink and a rest. I'll get the wine from the kitchen." She stood up and left the room. "I have some goodies, too!" Heather called after her. She walked over by the table by the door and grabbed her purse. She pulled out about 6 cigarettes... Well, not normal cigarettes. She walked back to the couch and laid them on the coffee table.

Only a couple of moments later, Corey came out carrying 3 glasses of wine on a tray. Large wine glasses. She set two down on the coffee table and handed me one. At first I sipped, but then drank a mouthful. It was fantastic, refreshing. My mouth had been dry, only flavored by Corey's juices.

When I stopped, I looked up. They were both sipping their wine, watching me. "It's almost time," Heather said softly. She turned to Corey. "I don't think he'll be able to take it." She told Corey. Corey smiled. "He has to, Heather dear, he has to."
