KEY WEST

A recent business trip to Miami led to one of my most memorable sexual experiences. Expecting the negotiations to take a full week, I was pleasantly surprised when I settled my business on the first day. My wife didn't expect me home for a week, so I decided to use the rest of my time to take a well-deserved vacation. I had heard that Key West was unlike anyplace else in the world. I wanted to see for myself.

After checking into a motel, I strolled down Duval Street taking in the sights like a typical tourist. Key West is a picturesque little town. The streets of the old town are lined with wood-frame houses more than a hundred years old. By some miracle, they have survived the hurricanes that wreak havoc on a regular basis.

The only way to see Key West is on foot, and it can be done in a few hours. After crisscrossing the island during the morning, the afternoon heat and humidity took its toll and I sought refuge in famed Sloppy Joe's Bar. Cooled only by ancient ceiling fans stained brown by smoke from Papa Hemingway's cigars, Sloppy Joe's is the perfect oasis on a hot summer day.
