A week had gone by since my parents left. I was starting to feel some pains of homesickness but tried to keep myself busy. College life was drastically different than what I had been use to in my small Indiana town. The schoolwork wasn’t that tough, I had graduated tops in my class and the work came easier for me than some others. The tough part for me was the “extras” that came with college.
