Kell lived w/ her boyfriend and his best friend Jake for 6 months before she finally realized that she had a crush on Jake. Only problem is, Jake had a girlfriend, who just so happened to be her best friend.

When their respective other halves weren't around and they needed someone to talk to, Kell and Jake would seek one anothers advice. Sometimes they would even talk about their relationships w/ their other halves.

One day Kell went to an interview for a job that she was eager to get. After the interview was over and Kell got the job, she was so happy, she needed to tell someone. Since her boyfriend was out of town on a business trip, she thought she'd go home and tell Jake the good news. Kell got home and saw that Jakes car was in his stall, so she finally could share her excitement. She went into the house and called for Jake, but Jake didn't answer. She thought he might be sleeping, but she was so excited she decided to go into Jakes room and wake him up and tell him the good news. Kell usually knocked on Jakes bedroom door and waited for him to acknowledge her before she entered, only today, she was too excited to knock. Kell opened the door and what she saw had her jaw dropping to the ground.
