Let me start out by saying that I’m not as dumb as I might sound. Some things I neglected to mention in the first part, I should add here. First, I did do some checking on the photographer, Michael, before I went to see him. I come from a big Catholic family and anyone who has a big family knows that once one person knows something, the whole family knows about it, and then some. Also, my friends are all involved with the school I work with, other friends, or know family members, or my fiancé. I wasn’t sure how anyone would react, especially since I figured it was porn or something similar, I’m sure they all would too. And while I didn’t feel comfortable enough with anyone I know to have them go with me and keep it a secret, I was still intrigued and wanted the money, but didn’t want to get [censored], [censored], or murdered! I looked into his business through both the city hall and Chamber of Commerce. He was in good standing with the Chamber, and his DBA was legitimate with the city hall as a photographer.
