Christ, what the fuck now? My ears were ringing, but I thought the blurry figure in the alley was talking. The street lamp's sick yellow light hardly penetrated to the dark hulking figure. I shivered, not from wearing somebody else's dirty shorts and a blanket. I shivered because I didn't have anything left. No adrenaline, no emotion, no energy, I was spent from a weekend of sex culminating in a love affair gone bad, with a nightstick. Shit, why can't this just be another byproduct of the stick? Despite the blow from Officer Amazon, I knew this was for real.

Fear was with me but I couldn't run. The nightstick took care of that. I could barely walk, let alone run. Damn, where are my shoes? How the fuck did I get this far without shredding my feet on broken glass? The sidewalk was cool though, even soothing. It couldn't be Sunday anymore or could it? After having been tied and cuffed I barely knew I had feet and hands, let alone where my shoes were or the day and time. I knew I had an asshole, in fact I'd swear I had two. It was throbbing along with my head, two different rhythms beating my body into submission.
