Vacation – The Cabin

We have made the final turn onto the road that will take us to the cabin. Everything is peaceful and quiet as we travel the long road. We see a clearing up ahead and as the headlights play over the area it is breathtaking. There below is the lake...the moon shining on it brightly. And there before us is the cabin that is ours for the week.

"Wait here and let me get the lights on." You tell me as you slide out of the car pulling the keys out of your pocket.

Sliding out of the car I watch as you make your way to the door. I can't believe after all the bad luck I have had through life I found you or maybe you found me. I think to myself with a smile. Seeing the lights come on I get a better view of the area around the cabin. I turn looking at the area. This is definitely something you don't get in the city. Out here the skies shine bright with the stars and the moon and for the next week this is ours.

"Well shall we get everything inside?" You ask as you walk up behind me wrapping your arms around my waist.

I nod as I lean back against you enjoying the feel of your arms around ...
