As The Bottle Spins

When I was in my first day back to highschool after long hot summer, I had two girls my own age living on my street. We had played together as kids for many years but the times were in for a change. Rocky and Jill walked home from school with me, one at each side. My house was first so I offered the girls a cold bottle of coke. They readily accepted on such a hot day. My parents were both at work and my sister had gone away to college so we had the house to ourselves for several hours. I went to the kitchen as the girls took a look around, kicked off their shoes and got comfortable.

I returned to the living with three frosty cold bottles of coke and suggested we go to my room. I led them down the hall and handed them their coke as they entered the room. Jill was a little chatterbug, about five foot three with red hair and a developing young body. Rocky was quieter, of Japanese decent, maybe four foot nine or ten and only about ninety-eight pounds but her developing curves were incredibly exaggerated. We all knew each other from over the years of playing stickball in the street so I failed to notice before now, just how the two of them had grown up over the summer.
