In the story Young neighbor, I related how I became an honorary mom by taking my grandkids to the park with some of the local mom's. How Jen and I had alittle fun together.

Jen and I continued to have coffee in the morning after dropping the kids at school, nothing ever happened, we never discussed it.

About a week after my adventure with Jen we were at the park with the rest of the mom's. The mom's sat and spoke while Pop-pop pushed the kids on swings, helped them on the monkey bars, and slides.

I told her I pruned my own trees, and if she wanted I could stop by, and take a look, if it was something I could do I would. We agreed to meet the next day at her house after the kids were in school, and Jen and I finished our morning coffee.

Arriving at Didi's I saw the apple trees she wanted pruned, there wasn't much work there. I grabbed my pruners, and went to work, it was cool enough I could see my breath and it felt good, especially after a exceptionaly warm fall. ...
