Monique: I am single at the moment. I did have a SO (significant other) once, who didn’t like what I wrote. It didn’t matter; we broke up a few days later. I recently got close to someone and he came up with some ideas for me to write about and a lot of it is stuff I randomly add to here and there.
Shuggie: Is it difficult for you to keep your writing life separate from your professional life?
Monique: No, its not. At work no one really knows me, the members of my team see me as the baby who makes them laugh. I decided to keep it that way. My friends say at work I’m Monique but anywhere else I’m Momo. Please no one call me that. Lol Its basically where Monique does what she is suppose to, but Momo is the wild one, the one who likes to explore. I don’t think there is any basis for it though.
Shuggie: How did you come up with your ES nickname?
Monique: I didn’t come up with pmpkty. It stands for pimp kitty, one of my friends from boot camp did. We met after we both got hurt and had to go to medical. The night before we went home we were so excited, finally graduation. Anyways, she was talking about how several of the corp mans at the hospital was checking me out and yet I still looked and seemed so graceful as I turned them down. Monique: I found the site by accident. I found it researching a topic on the female orgasm. I was 19 and still a lovely virgin and I wanted to know what all the hype was. Shuggie: How long have you been writing now? How did it all get started and what made you write your first story?
Monique: I started writing in high school, but it was mostly journals with random information. I had a horrible weekend, my dad pissed me off and I wrote what I was feeling and my psychology teacher told me I should write how I feel instead of hiding it. I got an A for the class and I found something that I liked to do. I guess you could say it was like basketball diaries but different. That’s when my imagination started to grow and my stories changed into what they are today. I’m still growing as a writer though. That was about 5 years ago I think.
Shuggie: What categories are most of your stories in? Is there a particular reason for this catagory? What kind would you never write?
Monique: I think most of mine are in the one on one category, but I do have some in the interracial which is my favorite then sex at work which is another favorite. I would never write cuckold stories. They don’t interest me at all. I don’t understand them I’ve tried to read a few but they just don’t hold my attention.

Shuggie: Are the characters in your story based on real people, did you make them up, or are they a combination of both?
Monique: Sometimes they are real people. The ones that are real are the people I like, but I change things about them so that I like them more. Its my idea of being as perfect as they can be while remaining human. I want them to seem real so even when it’s not a true story I still use the people around me. Like for instance I like writing about big men, tall, muscular, and yummy. I took that from a guy that I sometimes work with. I sometimes change the hair and eye color but a lot of the times it’s him in my mind when I write.
Shuggie: What parts of "Yourself" do you put into your characters?
Monique: I always use my description for the female character. I usually use my preferences for men, I have a thing for men with dark hair, eye color doesn’t matter, and sometimes blue, or green but I don’t forget the sexy men with brown eyes. I also like to give the female character my breasts, I know that they are small but I really do love them. You know DH Lawrence said, “Breasts are the mark of a passionate woman.”
Shuggie: If there was one trait you could take from one of your characters in your stories, and put it in place in your real life, what would it be and why?
Monique: I think I would be more open, some of my characters meet some random person and they have sex. I don’t want to be that open, but I would like to have the guts to experience more.
Shuggie: How long does it take for you to write a complete story? How does the process go?
Monique: It depends. My last one took about two weeks. Some take longer because I have an inability to concentrate. The story about ‘The older gentleman’. I wrote that in 6 hours. Someone gave me an idea and so many thoughts flowed and I had to get them all down, its one of my favorite stories.
Shuggie: How do you come up with your story titles?
Monique: Coming up with titles is so not for me. I hate writing the description too; I just put something so it will be there. I think maybe I should think about it more so more people will read what I write. Lol Sometimes I will have a specific title because it makes sense to me. Like ‘Unexperienced’.. I know it’s supposed to be inexperienced but I think changing the title shows a little more how naïve I was at first. Other than that, I just take a wild stab at titles. I have been trying harder. Maybe, sorta. lol
Shuggie: What is the hardest part of writing a story?
Monique: Staying focused. Anyone who knows me knows that my mind runs constantly. Sometimes there is no stopping it. I will start writing something then start cooking or cleaning something and I will forget the idea I had then go back to doing something else. I have trouble staying focused on a lot of things though. When I have the idea its easy to take off but staying on track is like juggling for me. Time is also an issue, since my mind is constantly running I’m always doing something.
Shuggie: Have you ever done research for a part of a story you didn’t have any knowledge about or maybe for a sex scene?
Monique: yes I have. Someone asked me to do a story about a woman doing a man with a strap on. Sure it’s not something I care for personally but I’m giving it a shot. I will say that it’s not hard finding videos showing it.
Shuggie: If a movie was ever made of one of your stories, which story would you want it to be, and who would play the lead characters?
Monique: More would have to be added but I like the idea of my story ‘My new Boss’. being turned into a movie. I would like Kerry Washington to play me. I think she is very beautiful, or Sanaa Lathan. Sure they have breasts and mine are a lot smaller but I think they can capture the craziness that is me. Monique: I do have a story that I’m waiting to put on the site. I’ve been waiting for the other person to write his side of it so I can post mine then he can post his a later. It is one of my favorites and I’ve been thinking about putting it up anyways. I’m also writing a story with someone. It’s going to be pretty long but it’s a really great and so worth it.
Shuggie: When you receive negative comments do you just ignore them, build from them, or let it put a negative image over the story itself, and let it hinder your writing?
Monique: It depends, I have been hurt by a few comments, but I will send a message saying, “Thank you for your opinion.” I’m thankful for them all positive or negative. It means they thought enough about me to write what ever they did. They are just words and I’m not going to be rude to them because they are rude to me. Others, I just consider criticism. I know I don’t edit most of anything, and I’m too impatient to wait and have someone else do it, but if there are any volunteers I would be happy to consider it.
Shuggie: Do you also enjoy reading erotic stories? Which categories do you enjoy the most? Do you like true stories or fantasies?
Monique: Yes I like reading other stories. I like interracial stories best. I’m a black woman and I like white men. Well I like all men, but that’s my preference. Monique: Indulger2005 is the best. I know he writes gay stories and some bi but what rules says we can only like one thing. Monique: I LOVE the forum. There are so many questions and topics, and more people are joining in all of the time. I like to encourage people to visit the forum because I’ve learned so much from it. I realized I’m not alone in a lot of the things that make me different from others. The advice is usually pretty good, sure not all of it is perfect but we are all human. The only thing that could make the site better is if more people join.
Shuggie: When you read a story do you: A. Touch yourself and come around the same time one of the characters do? B. Touch yourself but wait for the end to come? C. Touch yourself but wait until after you finish the story to come, such as after going to bed? D. Not touch yourself until you are finished and then continue thinking about the story and come? E. Any other variation you may do? (Please tell us what it is)
Monique: I would say a variation do D, I like to tease myself sometimes so I wait quite a while before I satisfy the need. I think sometimes it makes it so much better. There was one story that I would say C to. It’s the one Indulger2005 wrote about me. It was a really hot story and I can’t wait for part 2. Shuggie: Do you have any advice or tips on writing that you wish to share with any budding authors?
Monique: Make sure you have an editor or you like to edit your writing. I don’t have one and I don’t like to do it and it makes stories so much better without having simple mistakes.
