My team arrived in Baltimore the on a Thursday from Philadelphia. I was coaching a private youth swim team and we were in Baltimore for a regional swim meet. I had scheduled a light practice for Friday morning for the team just to stretch them out and ease them in to their surroundings. I decided to join them and was in the pool taking a few laps. I finished a lap when I looked up to see my assistant coach and a man standing and talking. She looked at me and waved her hand. I put my goggles on top of my head.

"Cheryl, come on over," she yelled. "I'd like you to meet someone."

I got out of the pool, grabbed my towel, quickly dried myself off and wrapped it around under my shoulders as I walked over to them.

"I'd like to introduce you to the meet director, Mr. Nardino" she stated.

"Hello, nice to meet you," I said extending my hand.

"Pleasure to meet you too," he replied with a big smile on his face.

"Thank you."

"Funny, haven't we met before," he asked.
