I guess we've all had our fair share of dead end jobs that we just enjoyed too much to quit; my job was working Christmas Party nights in a fancy Edinburgh hotel.

Working for my dad in his all trades business, my dad quickly realised that one month in the year, his business came second to my enjoyment. Granted, his business did quieten in the run up to Christmas, so I guess in a way it suited us both.

My first year saw me meeting a whole host of amazing people as I worked as a table waiter in a large banqueting suite. With nearly 500 guests to service, each waiter was given a couple of tables to look after and serve drinks to.
