They had moved in next door to me four years ago and for all outward appearances they were the perfect neighbours. Rob was in his early forties and worked hard - very hard - for his family, leaving early for work and coming home late, and it was not uncommon for his work to take him on the road for a couple of weeks at a time. When he was home the household appeared to be full of harmony. At least that's how it appeared to me.
