Saturday, and the first of two days off from a long week at the office where I work. No need to get up early and rush around getting ready, just, ahhhm (yawn), lay in until after 9pm, then take my time slipping on a robe and slowly make my way downstairs to have an unhurried breakfast. Yep, there's nothing quite like Saturday.

Shortly after 9.30, as I finished drinking my coffee, my cell phone rang. ‘Who could this be so early,' I wondered, as I went to pick it up. Noticing from the caller ID that it was Rachel, a very close girlfriend, I lazily said: "Hi, Rach', what's up?"

"Morning, Jane. I take it you had another eventful evening last night by the sounds of it," she rejoined, noting my partially hung over tone.

"It was okay," I told her lazily.

"Just okay! Tell me about it later," she said hurriedly. "The reason I'm calling so early is, that ‘Michael's', where you buy some of your clothes, is having a sale. As much as 50% off," she informed me. ‘Em, I wonder if that black dress with the lace trim, which I saw a month ago is included.'

"So, what do you say, meet me at the mall in a bout half an hour?" Rachel suggested.
