Story outline: With her husband's flight back to London cancelled, due to the winter weather, all Michelle had to look forward to that Christmas Eve was the usual boring TV fare or some porn. Shortly afterwards, however, there came a knock on her front door.

It was Christmas Eve, a time for families to be together, especially with it falling on the weekend. For some, though, in particular, David and scores of others, heavy snow in the north of England had caused flights to be cancelled. Consequently, Michelle's husband called his vivacious young wife immediately and gave her the bad news before wishing her a merry Christmas.

‘Oh well, there goes Christmas,' she realised, miserably, to herself.

It wasn't that David wouldn't be there to wish her merry Christmas when they awoke, nor open their presents to one another. Nor was it that they would miss morning mass and then prepare a traditional Christmas lunch for when his brother and wife came over, by car. No, what Michelle was looking forward to, was her very extra special present to him, a very personal one.
